| Dr. Nadeem Haq accepted the responsibility of recording secretary. |
- Introduction of all members
- Discussion about activation of NJ-APPNA website.
- Discussion about increasing NJ-APPNA membership and encourage to plan/start community activities.
- Dr. Zubair reported 65 physicians/active members have paid 2007 annual dues at Eid dinner Nov-2006.
- Recommendations made to approach almost 400 physicians in NJ to become NJ-APPNA members, including physicians in training (PIT).
- Suggestion made to distribute and assign list of non member physicians to regional councilors to contact non member doctors to become members, discussion was held about ways to attract non members to become members of NJ-APPNA.

| Motion made by Dr. Mughal to form Women Physicians Forum |
| Seconded by Dr. Yasmeen Chaudary and Dr. Amir Akram. |
- Zeba Nizam, MD assigned to be Co-chair for the Women Physicians Forum (WPF) and it's membership.
- Dr. Zeba Nizam elaborated on WPF of NJ-APPNA chapter and suggested to establish or add on to the existing APPNA-NJ website a health forum by specialists to address community health needs e.g. "ask the experts" section for the community to ask questions regarding health issues and consider establishing chat room for doctors to discuss difficult cases etc.

Dr. Nasar Qureshi suggested to and will seek legal advise for above to add disclaimer to advises/recommendations/referrals.

Dr. Zeba requested support from non-MD spouses of APPNA members.

WPF to hold quarterly meetings.

| Chairperson Spring Picnic 2007: Dr. Mughal (Dr. Mughal to form Spring Picnic 2007 Committee) |
| Tentative dates: 6/3/2007 and 6/10/2007 Sundays |
| Picnic dates to be finalized depending on availability of venue. |
| Dr. Amir Akmal suggested to consider having picnic venues outside New Jersey e.g. Pennysylvania H2O parks etc. |
| Suggestion made to invite APPNA New York & Pennsylvania chapter members to the picnic/sporting events. |

| Eid Dinner 2007 |
| Co-chairs Eid Dinner 2007: |

| Tentative venues for Eid dinner 2007: Pine Manor or Royal Albert Palace or other locations to be explored by co-chairs |
| Dr. Mehreen suggested increasing the Eid dinner ticket price. |

| Youth Activities |
| Recommendation made to form sub-committee for youth activities and this to be part of or sub-committee of WPF. |
|
| Residents In Training |
Motion made by Dr. Farrukh Nizam to nominate Dr. Jawad Kirmani as Chairperson for RIT.
Dr. Nasar Qureshi suggested establishing CME programs and articles for various medical journals. |

| Constitution & By Laws |
| Dr. Qureshi recommended to review NJ-APPNA chapter bylaws. |
| Dr. Zubair stated that NJ-APPNA chapter bylaws was reviewed by central APPNA last year. |
| Chairperson bylaws & constitution committee: Dr. Salim Chowdery |
| Discussion held to post constitution of NJ-APPNA on NJ-APPNA website. |

| Cricket League |
| EC approved proposal of cricket league sent by Dr. Nadeem Ahsan. Three co-ed cricket teams to be organized and a league established to be chaired by Dr. Nadeem Ahsan. |

| Dateline |
- Date for next EC Meeting March 11th 2007 Sunday 12:30 PM at 46 Jackson Drive Cranford NJ, unless venue changed.

Suggestion made to have these meetings open to all APPNA-NJ Members.

Dr. Zeba Nizam suggested to have General Body Meeting (GBM) twice a year.

Secretary of EC will be responsible for arranging general membership meetings.

One general membership meeting to be held in May prior to the Elections of Central-APPNA vote closing.

| Board of trustees to create Adhoc Committee on as needed basis for dealing with emergencies e.g. Tsunami, Pakistan Earthquake, Katrina, etc. |
